General Policies and Requirements

  1. All abstracts are to be submitted electronically by January 22, 2007.

  2. Abstracts are one page only (8.5” by 11” portrait with 1” margins).

  3. A template is supplied in Microsoft Word format (.doc). Most word processors can use this format. For those who cannot use that format, an alternative template is available in OpenOffice Writer format (.odt). OpenOffice is free and available in many operating systems and languages. If you are unable to use either format, PDF files (.pdf) may be accepted if they follow the exact same formatting instructions described under the “Formatting Instructions” link.

  4. One image may optionally be included in the abstract. If an image is used it must be embedded in the single page submission. Images will be grayscale only, not color. The resolution and print quality of the abstract book will not be especially high, so please do not use a figure with small details, or low contrast. 

  5. Accepted abstracts will be printed in the abstract book given to all workshop attendees.

  6. One abstract per presenting author, please.
